Homie, Champion & Smiley Unite For A Kindness Revolution

Global sportswear brand Champion and Australian social enterprise HoMie have teamed up with counter culture icon Smiley, to encourage a kindness revolution. Launching a first-of-its-kind, purpose-led  collaboration, the three entities have curated a limited-edition range, to help combat youth homelessness  and hardship. 

The ‘Start with A Smile’ collection, created in the context of Smiley’s ‘Take The Time To Smile’ slogan encourages conversation, shared kindness and making others smile. Launching at a one-night-only event on  May 20, the limited-edition range will land in Champion stores both nationally and online as well as in HoMie’s  flagship store on Brunswick Street in Melbourne, on May 26.  

Designed in conjunction with each brand’s creative teams, the bespoke garments feature uniquely merged  logos, signifying the union between them. Sharing a vision of a brighter future, the collection is a reminder  that kindness is cool, and it starts with a smile. 

HoMie utilises 100% of its profits to help in achieving its mission to provide clothing, training and job  opportunities to young people affected by homelessness or hardship. By purchasing from this limited-edition  Champion x HoMie x Smiley collab, you are directly helping this important cause.

HoMie is a Melbourne-based streetwear label and social enterprise, located on Brunswick Street,  founded in 2015. The organisation supports young people affected by homelessness and hardship,  equipping them with skills, confidence and experiences to be more work-ready and better prepared for  their future.  

HoMie runs two social impact programs – The HoMie Pathway Alliance, which is HoMie’s own accredited  retail training and education paid internship for young people (16-25) affected by homelessness or  hardship; and HoMie’s monthly VIP Shopping Days, where young people are welcomed into the store to  shop complimentary brand-new HoMie garments, access beauty services and enjoy lunch with the  HoMie team.
